Sometimes there is a secret that is meant for only one person, so one does not want this secret to fall into the hands of others.

Based on this idea, I (Adriaan Bredero) built ShareSecret.eu, a non-profit project!

The entered secrets are stored encrypted (AES-256-CBC with unique IV encryption) in the Netherlands. Once the secret expires or is opened it is immediately irretrievably destroyed.

Additional security based on password possible (max. 10 attempts for automatic deletion) This service meets the highest encryption standard and is completely anonymous, even I cannot make the data in the database visible and restore it.



No cookies, customer registrations, or advertising are used. The goal: to enable secure sharing of data, even outside of regular channels.

Developing and maintaining this service costs money.
